Open books / open source / altruistic healing in the age of information

I call myself the open source family healer. My family depends on me to have the correct and most cost-effective information to heal and keep us healthy. The year is 2007 and the internet has developed into a cost effective repository of information. To those who intuitively know how to recognize truthful information, it is a powerful tool. Of course I also deal with the people and other healers I meet and unashamedly learn from them. Then there are the books that are great sources of information.

I see farther because I stand on the shoulders of the great men and women who have come before me.

I sense a power shift from the those who monopolize healing information down to the common open books healers like myself. The big difference is, I’m not in this for the money. I’m into healing for my family. And that means I will do my very best with what I can afford.

Altruistic healing is a worthwhile hobby. I and my family become healthy, our medical expenditure has gone drastically down. Good for us, bad for the commercial medical industry. We treat the paid healers as consultants where it is ultimately we ourselves who finally decide.

Times are changing. This powerful healing information is in our hands now. This is like riding a bike, once you know how, you never forget. What is better about family healing is we instinctively know the idiosyncracies of our genes. We are specialists, specialists for ourselves.
