Dr. Mercola Tells you that Type 2 Diabetes is 100% Cureable

Doctor Mercola in his September 29, 2007 video broadcast outright flatly tells you that type 2 diabetes is 100% cureable. You read that. Cureable. Right here. Right now.

Forget that “there is no cure religion”. That is a mantra meant to prop up the diabetes industry. Who in his right mind wants to do “maintenance” with painful daily injections and daily finger pricking?

Not only is type 2 diabetes completely preventable, but it is virtually curable for anyone who is willing to put in the hard time and work and recovering their insulin and leptin sensitivity.

See the video.

I was recently hospitalized and found to have diabetes. My Blood sugar level when admitted into the hospital was around 1440 and I was comotose (spelling?). After five days I was normalized and the ER doctor discharged me and prescribed 35 units of slow acting insulin (Novolin NPH) twice a day and fast acting insulin (Novolin Regular) according to a sliding scale at meals, or 5 to 10 units usually. After two weeks, I now take 35 units in the morning and 20 units just before I go to bed, and insulin at meals. I have been doing fairly well with balancing my blood sugar, meals, and insulin. Or at least I thought I did till I read your article and other articles on this web site. A friend suggested that I could eliminate the insulin by not eating starches, fruits, carbohydrates, etc over a 90 day period and the beta cells would revive and normalize the natural insulin levels. This means eating proteins, water, and what else I do not know. Have you heard of such a procedure working? Do you have any suggestions?
