Hi Everyone,

I just found out today Friday August 3, that my 4 year old son KC Marvelous was just diagnosed with Dengue but he does not have a fever but did initially. His CBC platelet count was at 198 yesterday and today at 156. This really frightened me because I know many have died from this Dengue virus especially children. My son is my LIFE and I LOVE him more than life itself! I'm not about to just leave my son's life in the hands of the medical profession when I know that there are always better alternative remedies that actually work when there are none offered by the medical profession. I have been in the alternative health field for over 18 years now so my first instinct was to look for alternative answers. I went straight to Google and found this awesome website regarding Tawa Tawa. Good thing is, I live here in Pampanga Philippines at maraming Tawa Tawa dito kahit saan sa mga damohan sa gilid gilid. Even though it was late at night and pouring hard with rain I went out and looked for the plant. I got my self a good 3 hand full of the weeds and washed it in Alkaline and negative ionized water then boiled about 8 cups of the same water and then I cut the tawa tawa up in really small pieces to have a good release of whatever it has into the water and boiled it for about 1 minute. My son drank 2 cups so far of this herbal tawa tawa tea. He started drinking it at 9:pm and I'm going to make him drink half cup every 2 hours till his check up tomorrow morning.

He will have another CBC count of his platelets at 10:AM . I will be continuing the tawa tawa remedy regardless of the results. I know it might be a little soon to see any results but who knows, I have read some pretty quick results here by other posters who have experienced taking this home remedy but I'm not expecting to see results till about 48 hours later. I will post the results here tomorrow. So stay tuned and thanks to all of you for posting your story. Thank you po!

Hello,

Though we are still fortunate enough not to have been inflicted by dengue, I am intrigued by the Tawa Tawa plant. My mother has lupus and one of the things we constantly monito (and worry about) in her platelet count. Knowing that the Lupus affects the immune system and brings her platelet count to very low numbers that sometimes require her immediate platelet transfussion. My question is if it's ok to have her drink the tawa tawa plant drink regularly as tea? Will there be any effect on kidneys? Are there studies on the effect on drinking this "tea" long term or regularly as we drink green tea, sambong, lemon grass etc.? Your insight in this will highly be appreciated.

Thank you,

Two years ago, I haven't heard this tawa-tawa juice for dengue, I lost one student because of this sickness.

These days, I have given the juice to many of my friends who has dengue and it has proven very effective. No blood transfusion if tawa-tawa is given immediately.

Thank you for this information, for the people who posted this, thank you! May God reward you for the effort made. I usually send the link to the family of the people who has dengue and they will just print the picture and look for the plant.

Just another thought on this plant, the tawa-tawa: How can we help that this can be spread though-out the country? Can someone from the medical field study more on this so that we can make this an official supplement for dengue?

Im just having pity on the people who don't know about this plant.

Thank you and may God bless our country.
