Dengue Fever Cure using Tawa Tawa aka Gatas Gatas weed
*** NOTE: For a more extensive coverage of how to handle Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, please visit http://www.denguecure.com ***
Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a much feared disease caused by a virus carried via mosquito bites. Dengue causes hemorrhaging of the internal organs to a point that it causes death. Western medicine, the common hospital does not have a cure for Dengue. They merely say that their treatment is supportive and all you need to do is pray that the dengue victim is strong enough.
But here in the Philippines, many people know and have attested to the fact that they and many others have been cured of dengue via a simple weed. This weed is called Gatas Gatas in the province of Leyte. But in Butuan City they call the same weed Tawa Tawa.
A case of a nephew Jeremy at 7 years old came down with dengue fever. Immediately, relatives in Cagayan de Oro City who knew about the dengue cure Tawa Tawa sent via airplane a few handfuls of the weed. In 24 hours, my nephew was cured.
My aunt Portia is the known herbalist in the government office NHA in Quezon City. There are lots of Tawa Tawa weeds growing around the NHA compound. Many NHA employees who have had trouble with dengue fever in their family have gone to Auntie Portia for help with the dengue cure. She picks a bunch of the Tawa Tawa weeds and gives it to the grateful employee that promptly cures every dengue case.
We planted a couple of Tawa Tawa weeds in our own garden. Just in case.
My auntie Portia’s recipe for curing Dengue Fever using Tawa Tawa weeds is as follows:
- Take 5 to 6 full whole Tawa Tawa plants.
- Cut off the roots
- Wash and clean
- Fill your boiling pot with clean water.
- Boil the Tawa Tawa for 1 (one) minute in a slow rolling boil.
- Pour the tawa tawa water and let cool.
- Let the dengue fever victim drink only the tawa tawa water for 24 hours.
- Sip 1 to 1.5 glasses of tawa tawa water every 1 hour
The internal hemorrhaging will stop and the dengue fever will be cured after 24 hours.
That’s it. Simple cure. Give it early enough. Tawa Tawa does not interfere with your western medical treatments. You can slip it in through to the patient in a water bottle. You do not need to ask permission from your doctor.

I honestly do not know.
I live in the Philippines and the scourge here is Dengue fever from the mosquitoes.
Lyme disease is something we only read about in the USA or Europe.

on 06 Jun 2007 at 9:34 am 4.eesc said …
Oh my, I never thought about who sells these gatas gatas weeds. Probably nobody sells them. They are usually seen as pesky-good-for-nothing weeds.
We grow a few in our backyard just-in-case we need it.
My aunty has lots of these weeds around her office.
My grandparents have these weeds growing around their house in the provinces.
You could try the usual herbal outlets in Kamias Quezon City and Quiapo, Manila. Just bring the photo above. If they don’t have it, request for it.
I have no idea if these weeds grow in California.
I doubt there is ongoing trade about these weeds because they just grow everywhere, you just need to spot them.
What you could do if you need them is for your friends or relatives to pick them fresh for you when you need it and put it on a plane or send via door to door fedex.

Dear Sir/madam,
Topic : Cure for Dengue
There is a cure for dengue in Malaysia.
Currently in Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Ananthan Krishnan of AK Pharmacy of Naturopathy has conducted clinical case studies with Dengue patients over the years and has had 100% success rate.
Professor Dr. Ananthan Krishnan uses spices, beans, cereals and vitamins to heal people. It is all in capsule form. So far with all the dengue patients who have taken these products have been discharged from hospital within the first 48 hours upon consumption of these spices.
Professor has documented evidence that taking these tablets will improve the blood platelets of a dengue patient.

Hi Anthony,
Just copy the picture I have of the Tawa Tawa weed. Take the picture to a photo developer and have it printed. The tawa tawa are just weeds that grow wherever. You can ask any knowledgeable farmer, plant seller, gardener where you can find these weeds and I am pretty sure they grow in Davao City.
That picture is one I took outside my grandparents’ house in Butuan City, we’ve got lots of those weeds around Metro Manila too.

Nakangiti yung doctor sa amin after that day. Maganda daw yung CBC result ng pamangkin ko. From 60, tumaas ito hanggang 130. So ayun ok na daw sya sa dengue at pwede na namin syang ilabas. umabot kami ng 1 week sa hospital.
Thanks sa site na ito at sa friend ko. Ok na sya at one week na syang nakalabas. Magandang gift sa amin this christmas and makasurvive sya sa dengue.
More Power!

I would like to thank this site for posting such important information regarding dengue fever, last Jan 22 my husband was diagnosed with dengue fever he started getting high fever last Jan 20 and on Jan 21 we went to St Lukes and they started monitoring his platelets every day his initial platelet count was 162,000 then dropped to 118,000 then eventually dropped to 100,000. I was so desperate to seek in the net what can possibly be the cure for this virus and I chanced upon this site. I went to Ms Portia Coso of NHA and she gave me “tawa-tawa” weeds went home and immediately boiled them and gave it to my husband before bedtime. On the next day when my husband had his CBC again we were really very thankful for the results because his platelet count rose to 117,000. Thanks to “tawa-tawa” as my husband said “mapapatawa” ka talaga sa resulta kapag uminom ka ng “tawa-tawa”.

My daughter had a very high fever last week & Drs. said it was a plain systenic virus infection. My friend’s daughter just died of dengue so I had to take precautions on our own.It was sister who from Cagayan de Oro who sent me via LBC the tawa-tawa leaves. Her cbc was 208 on the first week of the height of her fever then down to 90 yhen that was when the drs said that she had to be admitted. While inside cbc down to 70.I let her drink boiled kamote top leaves, goji & gatorade while waiting for the tawa-tawa. Her platelets went up very gradually to 147. Then she was discharge. At home I gave her boiled tawa-tawa leaves for her platelets to rise higher to normal levels. I planted the the rest of the platns my sister sent just in case we mightneed it in the future. I found out that we have some tawatawa plants as well but they arent that lush. Those that cane from cag de oro are a lot bigger & looks healthier.

Hello. When I was in High School, I studied Tawa-tawa and its effects to the platelet count in mice. We separated the leaves, flowers, roots and stem. The most effective part of the plant with regards to the incresing platelet count in mice was the leaves. But I think that all the parts of the plant are greatly useful.
I have also heard that Euphorbia hirta or Tawa-tawa has some negative effects on the body. I’ve read it in a website. Please research some more and post them here so that we would all be knowledgeable with this. Thanks.

since i was a high school student back late 90′s i already knew what “gatas-gatas” can do. im from leyte and many people there knows about the plant. back then i would bring the extract to my friends who got dengue and they always recover.
last dec 2006 i got dengue. for one week i was really really sick i didnt go to the hospital thinking that it was only a flu. when the rashes showed up, i went to up infirmary to be checked. the blood test showed i only have 22 blood platelet count. the doctor got angry at me because i didnt come earlier. he arranged for my transfer to a bigger hospital immediately. i ended up riding a jeepney to east avenue, got my blood retested and i have to wait for 3hrs for the result (only took 45mins in up dil infirmary). while i waited i went outside and picked up gatas gatas along the streets (it grew at the cracks along the pedestrian walk) and boiled it at the apartment. went back to get the tests and the count was already 13, they confined me at the dengue ward. 2days later i walked out of the hospital not so psyched about my “second life”. the get well soon cards and food from my friends was good though. the doctor said that maybe the weakest strain (out of 4 if i remembered it right) caught me that’s why i didnt bleed and if i get dengue again it would be my last. that’s nice, next time i have dengue i can really test if gatas gatas works. hehehe. ill post here again if that happens.
i have a friend who got dengue last week friday he is in feu hospital right now. ill try to give him gatas gatas tomorrow if his parents would allow. his platelet count as of 12midnight was only 11.

I just returned from the Philippines and was unfortunate to develop a sudden onset of fever in the tail end of the trip. On the third day if my fever, I went to a doctor and all labs were normal. The doctor said that usually symptoms of dengue become more apparent after the 4th or 5th day. On the fourth day, my platelet went down to 126. I opted to go home and return the following day to the hospital to have my platelets checked again. Alas, it has dropped to 33 and my rashes had started to appear. I was admitted the same day. My mom gave me tawa tawa during the entire hospitalization. Even when my platelets went as far down as 21, I did not need any transfusion and on the fourth day of hospitalization, my platelets upped to 100. My mom had also received advise that durian increases platelets and even when the hospital had strict policies against pungent fruits, I ate my mom’s smuggled durian seeds inthe bathroom. That may have helped too.My next vacation, I am showering with insect repellant every day. Dengue is a very scary ordeal. If you are an international traveller like me, do not push to travel until all symptoms are stable. The rest of your life can wait. DO not gamble your health.

I was able to encounter such plant and its medicinal value when the child of our helper had a confirmed dengue fever and she was advised to get at least 2 bags of blood plasma in ordered to replace the lowering platelet count. I called up my mother in Bacolod City to ask her the telephone number of my friend in the Red Cross for us to have a reservation of the blood plasma in Red Cross Iloilo since the stocks in Roxas City is depleted. Fortunately my mother told me to try the TAWA TAWA plant instead. And indeed to my surprise the platets increased in just a few hours and there was no need for blood transfusion to be done. I had advised some people already about this and I had the same result. I am hoping to go into research on this since it can help areas who had an endemic disease of dengue.

Hi!a lot of my kababayans in mindanao can attest the effectiveness of this tawa-tawa weeds.in fact right now my cousin is in the hospital and his platelet dropped down to the level of 20thou.only which is very low.And he has to be transfused with platelet as ordered by the doctor. And since that this tawa-tawa weeds is very known in our place in its effectivity in the cure of dengue,my aunt brought a bunch of this weeds with her in manila since my cousin is now admitted in one of the hospital there. So far as of the latest news my family told me,it is really working. And he still drink it continously until now.
If this really can cure dengue why not let the Department of Health know this weeds so that proper study can be done in doing so the whole Philippines can start using this weeds as a treatment of this horrific disease that already taken a lot of our kababayans lives.I think you have to do something not only posting this info.thru the net because we have a lot of kababyans who do’nt have an access thru the net. This breakthrough has to be published in order to bring awareness to all Filipinos in doing so many lives will be save.
I am very much bothered because in our country this dengue is always an epedimic. And the fact is only few knew this weeds.
I do hope that you will reach out to the public with this information. And hopefully no more life will be wasted because of DENGUE.
more power to you.

Hello everyone,
I for one could attest to the efficacy of this wonder weeds the “tawa-tawa”.
Few years back when my daughter was seven years old,
she had fever. Her platelet count dropped down very
very low and was diagnosed to have dengue fever. I continued to monitor her temperature, however, I also believe that tawa-tawa weeds could helped her. I went
to mom’s and asked her to send me tawa-tawa leaves.
My mother gave me a bunch of tawa-tawa weeds, which
I boiled and used it as my daughter’s drink. Since my little girl would not like the smell and taste of it,
I mixed it with ice tea and orange juice. Everytime she asks for water I would let her choose ice tea or orange.
She continued drinking tawa-tawa, after two days we went
back to the doctor for another blood platelet count.
Fortunately, his platelet count was almost perfectly nornal. We were so surprised for the fast recovery of
my daughter. After that check up, she still continued drinking the tawa-tawa juice I prepared for her. We were all amazed how the tawa-tawa cured my daughter from dengue fever.
This weed is indeed easy to find, they just grow wild in the grass and found anywhere.

Hi! Tawa tawa is truly a wonder or miracle weed. I’ve proven it to my daughter who has fever with a low platelet
count several years ago. I also shared the weeds to friends
who have problems dealing with dengue and they testified that
it truly works. Thanks to our old folks amazing discoveries.
We don’t really have to spend a lot of money bringing our loved ones to the hospital when dengue occurs.

To Everyone,
Its good to hear the claims about this plant.
However, it is important to see a doctor still. There are 3 kinds of dengue virus and 1 of them may require blood transfusion.
Dengue patients needs a lot of rest. If you rest you’ll recover quickly. Platelets can jump high overnight on recovery period.

I learned about boiled Tawa-tawa or gatas-gatas for dengue fever from Usman Jumalon in Labangon, Cebu. I have heard about it’s use for the same indication from many others. but there is no scientific study yet about it that I have seen.
I still have to see the papers I heard had been prepared regarding Euphorbia hirta at Davao Regional Medical Training Center in Davao City. It does not mean however that I do not believe it.
There are treatments not studied but are effective. So why deny the patient these modalities? The objective is to treat, not scientific study.

This is in response to those in California asking about Tawa-tawa. These weeds are available there. Just bring a picture and look for them. The name may be Euphorbia hirta in the American environment.

I have aplastic anemia. All my blood counts usually drop eventhough I don’t have bleeding. I have been transfused with packed RBC and platelets for quite a number of times already, but I know that this procedure is not really advisable for it can cause secondary medical problems. I am really interested if the tawa-tawa plant can be an alternative for me, to avoid transfusions and finally, if not totally cure me, can help me increase my platelet count naturally. Right now my platelet count is 20. My platelet levels have never been normal for 8 months now. Everytime it goes lower than 20 I am required platelet transfusion. I would really appreciate if anyone could respond to me promptly. As I need more information on its effects and/or its toxicity/side effects. Though today, I drank tawa-tawa tea for the first time, with the hope of not having the need for transfusion.

My sister is in the hospital at this moment. She is diagnosed with dengue yesterday. Already felt the symptoms, four days ago but the doctor only finally ruled out that its dengue only yesterday when more obvious physical signs and symptoms came out. There is a rapid decrease of platelet count, a common characteristic of this infection. While anxiously monitoring for the result of her cbc tests every 4 hours, I started to google over herbal medicine on the net, came across this website. Desperately seeking for more scientific information on the net, I know hours ahead will be crucial, sceptical though, but got nothing to lose if she tries asked my sister if she is open to the idea of taking it and agreed. And so, I gave all the information who to contact, where to get it in Manila. The last time I talked to her was 3 hours ago and mentioned that she already got the tawa-tawa juice already prepared. Thank you very much whoever you are, I mean to the bearer and to Miss Portia, Maraming Salamat.

good day!
im from bohol, 22 yrs old, i experienced also of having very very low platelet count, last jan 2007 i was confined in the hospital for having ITP, 1st day in the hospital my platelet drop to 22 then to 6 at the second day before i had transfusion, then after transfusion was done my platelet increase to 36……at that time i was NOT really convince by the secret power of tawa2x, i preferred to take dr presciption than to herbal remedy…..last dec 2008 i was brought again in the hospital for same reason, my platelet drop to 10 and again undergone blood transfusion….after the transfusion my platet increased only to 30+, at that time, my mama and my relatives forced me to drink tawa2x water, then i tried cause i think wala naman siguro mawawala if itry ko lang…..then i was shocked from 30+ it increased to 80+ just for 1 day, then by this reason, i started drinking tawa2x, 1 week later my platelet reached to 200+ which i considered as a miracle na ibinigay ni LORD sa akin, cause for almost 2 years sa tuwing ng pa CBC ako, hindi umabot sa normal ang platelet ko, at that time pa ako naranas ng malaking increase, but there were times talaga na bumaba ang pletlet ko kasi ITP have no known cause, pro and masasabi ko nakatulong talaga ang tawa2x….so sa ngayon ang pantulak ko sa aking gamot (tablet) ay ang tawa2x……………PERO NAGKAPROBLEMA PO AKO NGAYON NAUBOS NA ANG TAWA TAWA SA AMIN!

Hi! I was able to find few of these weeds along the road inside our village. I just happened to mention and show these weeds to our maid. She is also from Ormoc, Leyte. She just made an outstanding testimony herself that these weeds are not only known to cure dengue fever but also a cure for the white spots spreading inside the eye or what they call ‘catarata’. She tried this herself at an early age. What they did, after her bath, they put the ‘katas’ o what they call the gatas of the weed directly to the affected white spot of the eye several times a day. By then, she has blurring eyesight and fearing to be blind. On the third day, she noticed the white spots on her eye slowly diminished in size. She continuously put the sap on her affected until the white spot was totally gone and her perfect eyesight was not damaged or affected at all . Many folks in Leyte is also aware and know this kind of cure for the eye by the said weed. I know somebody may further testify and research on this.

Hello! Good day to all!
I have proven three times the effectivity of this “tawa tawa” plant. First was last December 2,2008 when my 9 year-old son was detected in dengue fever. His platelet was going down from 150 to 90.When he take cup of tawa tawa tea for an hour his fever was down to 37 from 40. It’s really amazing.
Secondly,January 12,2009 his fever rose to 39.5 for the whole day, because of cough, when i gave him 3 cups of tawa-tawa tea for 3 consecutive hours his fever goes down to 37.
And now,3 year-old son has fever, i also gave him a cup of taw-tawa tea, his temperature normalize quickly.
Thanks to Leneth who introduced me TAWA TAWA PLANT.

Scientific name for Tawa-tawa is Euphorbia hirta. Anden Leona, my grandmother’s sister uses the sap for her eyes. Helps make her vision clearer. As children we use to gather the plant for her.
Boiled with fresh water in a clay pot, it is a treatment for dengue.

hi everyone! we just attest bout the tawa-tawa. we just knew it january of 2009. My brother has severe aplastic anemia for about 8mos now. He’s lowest platelet counts when he first arrived in the Philippines was 1000. He’s last transfusion of platelet was on dec 24, 2008. Since we heard about tawa-tawa to a friend, he started to drink that from january til may. It trully increases platelet counts but sadly to say not rbc nor wbc! Hope it can so that my brother no longer needs blood transfusion for 2x/week. Right now, his doctor ordered to stop because he’s in under test.. im afraid that his platelet counts gradual decreases.! and it happens from 7100 last May 12 it becomes 17000 yesterday! yvette, your not alone. How old are you?! and how long is you disease?? we have same situation…anyhow we can share experiences.

from his blood transfusion last dec 2008… until May he had no platelet transfusion. when he stopped drinking the tawa-tawa 2 weeks ago from 71,000(i may say) just last friday it goes down to 27,000. still no need for transfusion cause above 20,000. but yesterday, his cbc’s results was 17,000 platelet counts. see the difference? and the effectiveness of tawa-tawa, he had no symptoms when he started taking this; such as gum bleeding, hematoma & petechiae. right now, his doctor is very interested with the herbal plants his taking in. hope that they could research on this and made it as an official remedy not only for dengue patients and also for patients that has a blood disease specifically platelet. thanks

I have read here that some has taken this for their blood diseases. Where can we get this plant & how can we grow this plant? Also, if she will take this herb, when will she stop taking it & how many glasses for a day? So far her hemoglobin is okay although her WBC is above normal but still not a threat unlike her platelet count. We are really hoping for some cure or at least something that can boost her platelet count to normal.

I received yesterday an email from a friend in Saudi Arabia about this Cure Library, which took my interest as our organization has launched “BANTAY KALUSUGAN: ALAY SA BAYAN” Medical Outreach Program in the Province of Antique.
We are former seminarians and priest of St. Peter’s Seminary in San Jose dB, Antique and we call ourselves BUGSAY, as members of Bugsay Association, Inc. We have extended help to all barangays in the province through medical mission and recentlt distributed medical kits,a kit containing nebulizers and medicines for every barangay in the whole province.
Just recently, a member of our association from a town north of Antique province was rushed to the hospital infected by dengue. His will to survive sparked his fast recovery that he was discharged after four days, unlike others who stayed more than a week at the hospital while 3 in this province recently were not able to make it.
I learned that dengue infected patients were treated by the usual Western and synthetic medications, and prescribed of plenty of liquid intakes and fresh fruits.
But with this new sighting of cure to dengue by taking tawa-tawa or gatas-gatas tea, it is good to have a try.
But I would like to take extra pre-caution cause what are posted in the internet MUST BE VALIDATED dahil maraming kalokohan at paglolokohan via the internet. My apology then… just want to make sure I am taking the right lane.
Would you mind, anyone, give me the contact number of Ms. Portia Hiponia of the NHA, the new generation herbalist. I need her help in identifying this tawa-tawa or gatas-gatas to make sure we are pulling the right weeds as we don’t know how we call this in our dialect. But Hiponia is a very familiar surname here, marami yan sila dito sa Antique.
Thank you very much for this “cure to dengue.”
God bless you all. Mabuhay ang mga Pinoy!

My brother also said that he thinks his death is getting near. He feels that his body was so weak and he cannot take it longer. Good thing somebody have advised us to make TAWA-TAWA juice which I just took from the backyard of Davao Medical Center. I just cleaned the weed thoroughly and boiled it all including its roots. I mixed it with Royal True Orange to eliminate its bitter taste. Thank God they recovered fast. For about 3 days after they drinked it, we were advised to check-out in the hospital. My brother told me that it was a near death experience according to him which he doesnt want to experience it again.

Medical Researchers in Davao City Medical Center have verified the effect of Euphorbia hirta.
The proof of the therapeutic effects of Euphorbia hirta can easily be verified. Platelet blood count can be done in a medical laboratory.
And the patient can attest to the results.
The son of an ophthalmologist in Zamboanga City when this son has fever, according to the father, just takes a decoction of E. hirta with juice. And the fever disappears.
No commercial incentive for people to sell the decoction – it can easily be made at practically no cost in a kitchen.

Before my son took the tawa-tawa I asked the doctor about his knowledge about the herbs and he said he will not recommend it since no complete medical study with it, although word of mouth and testimony of the weeds spreading all over the place,

Thank you so much. I really really appreciate your help. We are very much worried about my brother.

I do agree that tawa-tawa cures dengue…. I drink a lot of tawa-tawa when I was confined at the hospital due to my dengue fever…. when my platelet count drops to 18,000… it goes up to 121,000 after I drank the remedy… =)

hello there everyone, ako pa pala last na nagpost dito. My sister-in-law and I are now out of the hospital last week pa….the time i posted my previous post was the day we were rushed to the hospital, because i already collapsed few hours after posting it…when they checked our CBC with platelet count, mine is still normal 151, while my hipag has 114 already, then after 6 hours, my platelet dropped to 139 and may hipag to 113. thus we were admitted.
the following days, our platelets dropped even more. My hipag reached 74, with signs of bleeding(episodes of nose bleeding, the doctor already asked to prepare for possible blood transfusion), my platelet reached 84. But that was the day we started TAWA TAWA.
I already asked my family to search for tawa tawa because of what i read in this thread. they searched and found it, prepared it, but the good thing was when they were about to leave the house, a good neighbor arrived giving tawa tawa, and my family found out na mali pla yung naprepare nila, almost the same ang itsura but the flowers are white.thank God!
After few days, our platelets went up and up. and were discharged from the hospital Saturday November 21.
here is the summary:
November 16(monday)- rushed to hospital, platelets 114 and 151(6PM), after 6 hours, platelet 113 and 139(12 Midnight)
November 17(tuesday)- admitted…platelet went even lower(less than 100)
November 18(wednesday) – started tawa tawa….platelet went up after 12 hours
Nov 19(thursday)and November 20(friday)- platelets went even higher
November 21(saturday) – discharged from hospital, normal platelet counts for both of us
***is tawa tawa effective? on the day we were rushed to the hospital, there were 3 cases of dengue. Me, my sis-in-law, and another man. We were discharged the next saturday, while the man still has 47 platelet, thus; we donated to him the left TAWA TAWA weed solution.

I learned about Tawatawa from my helpers who came from Mindanao. Our helper saw me crying, I cried when I learned that a very good friend of mine, dropped her platelet to 24,000. We were together when she had her fever 39-40 degrees celcius for 3days. Then was admitted to the hospital for rehydration.Upon admission, platelet was 56,000, after 8 hours, 36,000, then after 8 hours, 24,000.I surfed the net to validate my helper’s suggestion about the Tawatawa. I found this site and went right away to NHA and looked for Portia. She gladly assisted me to get the weeds. That same day, at about dinner, I brought the tea to the hospital and told my friend to drink at least 4 glasses, one time. The following day, platelet was went up to 30,000, then after 8 hours, 45,000, then 95,000, finally 150,000, all these developments in 24 hours! I cannot believe it myself. On the other hand, our body has its own natural ability to compensate, what we need to establish here is the right time to give Tawatawa. It could be that at the time we gave it, it was also the time where the body’s mechanism have already compensated. While we do need solid data to back up the efficacy of Tawatawa, there is really no harm in giving it. True, it healed my best friend. thanks to this site, thanks to Tawatawa

i was sick for 3 days already so i decided to go to the hospital for checkup. the doctor asked me to have a cbc and the result showed that my platelet count was below normal. the normal is 150,000 to 450,000 and mine was 140,000. we were already worried and hope that it is not dengue. aside from the paracetamol, all we can do was to wait for another couple of days to observe for symptoms of dengue and have a cbc again. i searched the web and found out about this site and tawa-tawa leaves. i immediately called NHA and looked for Ms. Portia. she was very nice and very accomodating on the phone and even consoled me because i was really worried. the next day, we went to NHA and she gave us tawa-tawa leaves. i started drinking the tawa-tawa tea then have a cbc test again the following day but the results were still low, my platelet count dropped to 139,000 and white blood cell count and others also dropped below normal levels. the doctor advised us to have a retest the following day and i just continued drinking the tea. i was very anxious and have a retest the following day. to our surpise my platelet count rose to 380,000 and the white blood cells, etc became normal. it was indeed a miracle. i don’t know how that happened but i know that the tawa-tawa and the prayers helped me. thanks! God is good. Keep the faith!

The platelets increase after drinking euphorbia hirta decoction.
These were the results from the niece of my sister who had leukemia took the decoction from boiled tawa-tawa leaves which Edna her helper gathers and boils.
The results were validated at Vicente Sotto medical center’s laboratory and are in the patients medical records – although this was done without the physician or the doctors advice.
A physician specialist friend also told me of their experience with using the decoction of Euphorbia hirta in Zamboanga City.

duh. if this will be made known to DOH, probably it will cost a lot when it ends up in the shelves. anyway, using the herb as it is is effective enough.
yes it is effective. i know a friend who made his son take tawa tawa who was at the time suffering from dengue. he was checked clinically (which confirmed it). had prescription meds for a day or two. platelets were still dropping. tawa tawa was recommended… supplemented by fresh lemon juice. that solved it… of course with the meds

Hi, had Dengue myself – started with high fever – went to hospital with CBC 70000 within 2 days as low as 24000 – received Platelet transfusion – CBC rised again. Did not know about Tawa Tawa – been drinking extract from Papaya leafs – but I had the feeling only the transfusion helped – I hope I will never get Dengue again, knowing that there are 4 different kinds – second time you get Dengue is most time worser than the first time – just in case it will hit me again I hope Tawa Tawa will help.
